'I'm On Drugs' release

Ash have just recorded an new track in New Orleans for inclusion on a forthcoming limited 7" vinyl single.

The song, 'I'm On Drugs', has been described as "a pure Punk Rawk, Oi, Cramps-esque senseless 2 1/2 minute punch in the face."

According to the band's bass player, Mark Hamilton, they do not yet know how many copies will be available: "dunno how many copies but probably (1000-2000). It will have the excellent Death Metal 'Candy' by the 10 Horse Men on the other side (winners of the Xfm Covers Competition)."

There is no date for the release of the single but Hamilton said that it will be a "low key affair."

The Northern Irish band are currently finishing up their American tour before taking a break over Christmas and the New Year.
