Ash burn Westlife CDs
Westlife manager Louis Walsh has hit back at Ash
for burning 300 copies of the boy band's CD. Ash recently set fire to 300 copies
of Westlife's latest single, 'What Makes A Man', in a Leeds car park. Walsh was
quoted as saying, "Three hundred singles is more than Ash have ever sold.
Where did a struggling band like them get the cash to buy the CDs? We're doing
11 nights in Dublin's Point Theater while Ash couldn't fill one night in the
Olympia Theater!"
Walsh then pointed out Westlife's ignorance of the current singles chat: "I
told Bryan McFadden [of Westlife] what they had done. He said he's never heard
of them, but suggested they put a TR in front of their name!" Did you get
it? Funny guys, those Westlife boys.
