Ash crash!!
UPDATE: Ash are once again doing gigs after the crash (so I presume Rick's broken ribs are well enough to play with and Mark's whiplash was only mild). Charlotte also did not break her arm after all. Alls well that ends well......

Ash have cancelled Detroit gigs today for 16-17 August due to being involved in a serious tour bus accident. According to a Mark's girlfriend (A Daryl Hannah Impersonator by trade) Rick has broken a rib, Mark has whiplash and Charlotte may have broken her arm. This is all wrong. all wrong. If Charlotte does have a broken arm will it heal in time for Reading? I hope so. There is no news on Tim being hurt which is one saving grace but its still a shock to the system. I'm sure I can speak on behalf of Ash by saying sorry to all the fans who were going to see them in Detroit tonight and tomorrow. Obviously there is nothing they can do. Beyond their control... My site is dedicated to the Detroit fans for the next week for being understanding. Get well soon Ash. Stay strong.
I don't know much about this but this message was posted on the Official Ash Message Board and I thought I should pass it on:
"The Ash tour bus crashed on route to tonight's gig and all band members went flying! Rick has broken rib. Charlotte has broken arm (possibly) and dmh has whiplash injury."
another member then added......
"Thought i would pass on this cos there are some guys going to the gig tonight that are gonna be a big gutted!Apologies from the band, but hey its the drivers fault. They hit a tire on the road and went into the back of another bus.
They had to get towed to the nearest town where they are all in agony lying in some scummy hotel somewhere..."
Hopefully Ash will be fit and well for the Carling Leeds and Reading gigs!
